Since 2009 a small group of creative musicians and extremely sound loving non musicians, Stephan Läufer, Jens Soethe, Mike Kerkum and Fabian Oettel, started to dream about a little sound studio for themselves, but there was no location and no money for it. After a while one of the musicians came with the idea to start in the attic of the house he hired – at that time a very dusty and dirty place. So they started to clean and renovate it. All the material was found on the street or sponsored by kind people who wanted to support the project. The studio stated to grow step by step.It should become a platform for all kind of musicians that love sound and that are not in it for fame – sound workers who rag notes out of the swift acoustic noises of the world. The idea is to go back to the basic of sound, searching for the roots of rhythms, melodies and recording.
